Hays Technology is looking for an IT Architect / IT Lead for one of our Information Technology clients in Luxembourg. The ideal candidate will work closely with the CTO and contribute to the maintenance and development of the IT infrastructure while managing an IT Team.

What you'll need to succeed

• Degree in Computer Sciences or equivalent experience
• +8 years’ experience in a similar position working with complex infrastructures
• Strong virtualisation experience ie. VMware
• Excellent Linux Environment experience
• At home with Active Directory;
• Networking and servers (CISCO and DELL)
• Strong knowledge of Veeam or other backup tools
• At home with the following monitoring tools: Nagios, Observium, SolarWinds
• Checkpoint firewall experience or other firewalls as well as a solid understanding of security principles/protocols
• Solid experience with Kubernetes cluster;
• Robust in stressful situations
• Team leadership
• Proactive
• Strong organizational and prioritizing skills
• Fluency in English
• French only a nice to have
