Hays Technology is looking for a Project Manager for one of our client in baking sector in Luxembourg to join their team.

Summary of Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:

• Project Manager in the Luxembourg office/s supporting day to day requirements for two Change the Bank projects within Luxembourg. Their duties will include but not limited to the following: ensure the management of programme scope, milestones, dependencies, costs and benefits through the entire programme lifecycle

• Escalation point for identified programme risks and issues and where appropriate work with the other project managers and business leads to devise effective mitigation and escalation strategies

• Drive Proteus project activities in accordance with Technology Infrastructure project governance policies

• Lead regular project reviews with other assigned infrastructure project managers

• Support Local Lux IT team with project related activities

• Ensure quality senior management reporting

• Responsibility for required project governance

• Manage key stakeholder and project manager relationships and communication

Qualifications/Skills

• Strong Project Management and People Management (Leadership) with proven track record of managing complex regional and global projects.

• Previous experience working in a matrix management environment

• Previous experience working in application project management environment

• Ability to work independently with remote and matrix management - self starter

• Experience in managing integration and deployment projects regionally and/or globally.

• Strong Microsoft Project skills

• Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially with PowerPoint presentations

• Appropriate (industry recognised) project management certification

• Excellent communication skills

• Must be able to communicate effectively and clearly at every level (up, down and laterally)
• Identify and know and understand target audience
• Clear and concise communications of ideas, instructions
• Clear written and verbal communications (presentations)
• Conflict and influence management

• Confident and fluent English speaker and writer

• Strong English grammar skills

• Appreciation and understanding in working in a global environment with many diverse cultures
