Hays Technology is looking for a Roaming Engineer (M/F) for one big strategical company in the telecommunication sector.

Missions:

• Today all technical information and parameter concerning mobile roaming agreements with other operators are stored and up-to-date in an external database, this database is managed by a third party.
• Parameter changes are entered manually into the relevant mobile network nodes.
• We are working on a project to so some automation here.

o First part is to do a cross check between as is / and should be status – comparison of database with our network settings here we intend to eliminate any difference by several iterations steps.
o We also intend to use test also first script files

Ideal candidate:

• Profile: technical specialist, system administrator with good knowledge of mobile roaming
• 3 – 5 years of experience
• Domain: Roaming, Circuit switched core elements (MSC-S, HLR, HSS)
• Language: fluent in English, others welcome
• Some scripting skills in Bash, Perl or Python
• MS-Excel skills
