We are pleased to be working with one of the leading international Management Company, well known for major projects around The Netherlands. They pride themselves in being a green, innovative and progressive company. With an international presence. They are urgently looking for their Future Senior Risk Manager to create their Super ManCo in Luxembourg and act as Conducting Officer approved by the CSSF.
The core responsibilities within the position will focus on designing and maintaining the Management Company operational risk and compliance reporting framework, reporting to the Support Management within the business. In details, you will be in charge of: Understanding portfolio risk of UCITs and AIFs concerning market risk (VaR), liquidity risk and leverage risk; Risk Monitoring; Preparation of Risk Reporting; Monitoring the Legal and Investment Strategy; Managing client requests and issues; Set up the production of Risk Management monitoring; Addressing of Operational Risks.
You will need to understand how the business operates now and what the current risks are and interpret what they will look like in the future. This position addresses tight deadlines. You will have contact at all levels within the company which requires strong interpersonal communication skills both written and verbal.
In order to succeed in this role you own a Master Degree in Finance, Economics or Risk Management. You have minimum 5 years of experience in Risk Management gained in the Fund Industry. You speak fluently English and French. You are capable to build up the technical and know how aspects of the Risk and Compliance from scratch.
You have strong Risk Management experience, good understanding of Risk Regulation and a broad exposure across different Risk and Compliance matters. You are an entrepreneur, who will be taking on an exciting challenge featuring immediate responsibility. You are a strong communicator and a good solution-driven candidate.
