Hays Technology is looking for a Technical Analyst (M/F) for one its main clients in the financial sector in Luxembourg.

Your missions will involve:

• Drive data discovery, sourcing, modelling and analytics to support the creation of data flows and models. This includes researching and profiling data sources in data categories such as banking / investment products, transactions, performance, financials;
• Work with Business and IT stakeholders to identify sources of data and to generate data flow diagrams and take ownership end to end to propagate data from source systems up to consuming systems
• Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical solution and analyse trade-offs between usability and performance needs

Your profile:

Degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering or Computer Science (or equivalent, certification and / or relevant work experience)

• Sound understanding of Oracle concepts (Storage, memory usage, queries processing...)
• Experience with datawarehouse/datamart modeling (start schemas, data vault, EDW) and techniques in Oracle (partitionning, compression, indexing...)
• Proven knowledge and expertise on Oracle databases development: SQL and PL- SQL development, query performance tuning, Oracle development best practices...
• Experience with ETL processing using Informatica PowerCenter (Administration and development)
• Experience with data/systems security topics: data masking and tokenization, encryption, certificates management
• Experience with workflow scheduler tools, ideally TWS
• Exposure to software development lifecycle management in an agile environment and familiarity with respective toolset (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket)
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical approach to solve data management challenges
• Python, Java and scripting would be a plus
